SILAS C. TROWBRIDGE

Civil War Union Soldier. He was enrolled in the 15th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry on August 11, 1862, and was mustered in as a Private in Company C on August 25, 1862, He served through the rest of the balance of the Civil War, seeing action at battles such as Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, The Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cedar Creek and Petersburg. He was honorably mustered out on June 22, 1865.
