Remember Your Argument Is Not With Me --- It Is With God!

     Will you be one of Many Church Members who attempt to Argue With God at the Judgment? If so, You Will Lose. When it come to the question of Where You Will Spend Eternity, upon what do you base your answer? There is Nothing In Your Life More Important than this.

     I no longer ask anyone: "If you were to die, do you Know, In Your Heart, that you would go to heaven?" Many times they would answer "Yes," but their answer is Wrong because it is based upon a Wrong Premise. I am not interested in what your heart tells you because it will lie and deceive you.

Jeremiah 17:9, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

     Others, some of whom have no time for God, would answer and say: "I'm not worried about that. I Took Care of That Years Ago." I am sorry, but that is Not What God Says. Salvation is not just something you take care of like a Fire Insurance Policy and then forget about it until you have a fire. True Salvation is a Commitment, it is a Personal Relationship With Christ. It is a life you live.

     After I was saved, a friend handed me a tract on "How May I Know I Am Saved." I laid it aside and Never Read It. You see, I had been under conviction for three years before I was saved. For those three years I lived in fear of going to hell. Now that I was saved, I Didn't Want Anything To Put Any Doubts In My Mind, so I refused to read the tract. This was the dumbest thing I ever did. I have since learned that it is better to be Sure Now than to live in the Comfort of A Lie.

Isaiah 28:15, "... we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:"

     Many people will Ignore this subject (hid their head in the sand like an ostrich and hope everything works out) because they are Afraid of The Answer. "What if I was wrong or made a mistake. What if I am Not Truly Saved?" Well, don't you think it would be Better To Find Out Now rather than later. Ignoring or denying the problem will not make it go away. Your Eternal Destiny depends upon your answer.

     Many people Think they are Christians who are Not. Sadly, they have been Deceived by the Devil.

2 Cor. 4:3-4, "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

     Jesus, Himself, tell us that Many will appear before Him in Judgement who Think they are Christians (saved) but will find out that they are Not. Thinking It Does Not Make It So. You may Try To Justify your belief but you will Not Succeed.

     Matthew 7:21-23, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

     Jesus did Not say, "I Once knew you but you Lost it." He said, "I Never Knew You, you are not one of mine. Depart from me.? You cannot win a debate with God. What about Your Children? Are you Comfortable in Thinking they are Saved when they May Not Be. Wouldn't you rather have the Security of Knowing. You may not like to think about this, but I challenge you to keep reading. Don't Let Fear Stop You from knowing the truth.

     First, let me answer the question, "Just who do you think you are that you can tell me that I am not saved?" Answer, I am not trying to tell you any such thing. I am Trying To Help you Solidify your Relationship with God, if you have one, so you can be Sure You Are Saved. If you don't have a relationship with God, I will attempt to show you how you can have and be sure of it.

     Peter warned us to Make Sure of our Salvation (2 Peter 1:10). Its too important a matter to ignore. Thinking or Believing that you, your children, family, and friends are saved Does Not Make It So!

     Paul warns us that many Church Members have Believe In Vain and Not to the Salvation of The Soul.

1 Corinthians 15:2, "By which also ye are saved, ..... unless ye have believed in vain.

Hebrews 10:39, "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

     The Truth of the matter is if you do not want anything to do with God in this life (don't have time for Him), He will not want anything to do with you in the life to come. It your choice.

     You may say, "But I though that God loves me 'Unconditionally' and will accept me 'As I Am'". Sorry, but, Nowhere in the Bible (God's Word) is such a statement make. The word "Unconditional" is Not even in the Bible.

     It is true that "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom. 5:8). This death, however, was Not unconditional but rather "That" we might believe.

2 Corinthians 5:15, "And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."

Romans 14:9, "For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living."

John 3:18, "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." --- V. 36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." --- 8:24, "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."

You Cannot Reject Christ As Your Lord And Still Be Accepted By Him. It just does not work that way. God has set down Certain Conditions that must be Met By You in order to be Accepted By Him --- Repentance --- Faith:

1. REPENTANCE --- The song says, "Just As I Am" but God says, "Except Ye Repent!" Would you rather base your hope of heaven on a song written by man or the "Word of God."?

Matthew 3:7-8, "But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:"

Mark 1:15, "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."

Acts 3:19, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, ..." --- 17:30, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" --- 26:20, "... they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance."

Luke 13:3, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

2. FAITH --- may not be what you think it is. The devils "Believes And Trembles," but they are not saved. Paul talks about some Church Members who Had Faith but they had Believed In Vain (1 Cor. 15:2) rather than to the Salvation of The Soul (Heb. 10:39).

The Faith that leads to salvation leads to a Radical Transformation in your Life.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11, " Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."
2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

     We are not saved by works, but the Faith That Does Not Lead To Works Will Not Lead To Heaven.

James 2:20, "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"

Matthew 7:21, 24-27, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. ..... V. 24, "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."

Mark 10:17-22, "And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions."

     Let me try to explain. True Faith Always Lead To Actions. If I believe in my country, I may even lie about my age in order to join the Army and fight for what I believe in. Many thousands did this during WW-I & WW-II. If I do not believe in my country, I may flee to Canada in order to escape the draft. I do not desire to fight for a cause I do not believe in. Many thousands did this during the Vietnam War. Some have chained themselves to Trees in order to save a forest. One even walked out in front of a Moving Tank In China because he believed in a cause. The Faith That Does Not Make You Want To Live For And Serve The Lord Is Dead And Empty. In reality it is Not Faith At All.

1. Faith caused Noah to build an Ark.

2. Faith caused Abraham to leave his home not know where he was going.

3. Faith caused Moses to go back to Egypt to lead the children of Israel out.

4. Faith caused Joshua to go against Jericho with 300 men.

5. Faith caused Rahab to hid the two spies.

6. Faith caused David to go up against the giant.

7. Faith causes You to act upon your faith. On and on we could go naming many others. The point is that True Faith Always Acts and if you have true faith in God, It Will Cause You To Be Active In His Service.

     This is too important a matter for you to rely upon what some preacher (myself included) tells you. You may be judged For what you believe but you will Not Be Judged By What You Believe, you will be Judged By what God's Word says.

John 12:48, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."

And God's Word Says:

Matthew 7:22-23. "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Matthew 24:40-41, "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.."

Matthew 16:26, "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

Be Sure That You Base Your Salvation Upon The Word of God And Not Upon The Word of Man.
