2 Peter 2:17, "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever."

A. Wells that are Dry are Useless and Vain.

B. Our Lives are like wells in the service of the Lord.

C. It is a Tragic thing when a well is dry and Filled With Trash.

A. The world is Full of Religion.

Rom. 10:2, "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge."

B. We must be Born From Above.

John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

C. Jesus Did Not Come To Save The Righteous.

Matt. 9:12-13, "But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

D. Regeneration is a Spiritual Birth by the Holy Spirit.

A. Jesus said ---

Matt. 21:22, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

John 16:24, "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."

B. James said ---

James 4:2, "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not."

C. Prayer must be offered in Faith.

Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

James 1:6-7, "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord."

D. Prayer is often Misused for Material Blessings.

James 4:3, "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."

A. Hearers and Not Doers of the Word only Deceive Themselves.

James 1:22-25, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."

B. Faith that does Not Produce Works is Not a Living faith.

James 2:17-20, "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"

C. Service Without Love is also as Useless as a well without water.

A. The Church Was Commissioned to evangelize the world.

Make Disciples --- Baptize Them --- Teach Them .....

B. Jesus said ---

John 20:21, "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you."

C. A church Fails if it does Not Participate in world wide missions.

A. Saul of Tarsus had a desire and made a decision.

B. The Eunuch had a desire and made a decision.

C. The Rich Young Ruler had a desire but failed to make a decision.

D. Felix and Agrippa had a desire but failed to decide for Jesus.

E. "Almost" Is Not Sufficient To Save The Soul!
